"Evanston's River Playground"


Walk, jog and bike the greenway main trail from Bear River Drive to Bear River State Park. The main trail follows the Bear River, which offers excellent fishing and White Water activities for kayaking, rafting and tubing. The Bear River Greenway also links Evanston's Historic Downtown with the Ice Ponds, various Nature Trails, the "Bear Tales" Fire Circle; and live Elk and Buffalo exhibits at Bear River State Park and Travel Information Center, east of Evanston.


GREENWAY USER RULES & REGULATIONS

Hours:5:00 am – 11:00 pm

All Pets Must be Leashed

Swimming Is Not Recommended in the Ice Ponds

Life Jackets are Highly Recommended When In or Near the Ice Ponds and Bear River

Alcohol Consumption is By Permit Only

Keep Motor Vehicles Off Parkway Trails

No Hunting

Fires in Designated Areas By Permit Only

Fireworks Not Allowed

Camping By Permit Only

Ice Fishing Not Allowed on Ice Skating Areas During Winter Season

Wyoming Game, Fish and Boating Laws and Regulations Apply to the Ice Ponds and the Bear River

Catch and Release is Recommended
